Hola España!

Hola!
I remember when i wrote something about Spain and how i love to explore that country then last year i was so upset when the consulate refused to give me a visa for a short trip though i have had all my documents completely.  Well after a year now i see myself stepped in the land of this country.

After almost 25 hours travel time finally i arrived in Madrid Barajar Airport earlier than we expected but safe and sound! But before Madrid i waited nine hours in Dubai International Airport for my connecting fligth.  I was amazed in Dubai airport it was very huge and clean and some part of it are still under construction but so far it was the best airport that i have been. After 8 hours of travel viola!

Welcome to Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport! :)

I felt lost when i arrived in this airport since it was my first time i just followed other passenger who was going to hop in a train going to Terminal 4.  But to be sure enough i also asked for a help of one of the staff inside the airport and he gladly gave me the instructions. I was really nervous and worried that i might not gonna see my husband in the waiting area but as i exit i saw him waiting near the cafeteria :)  Sweet kisses is the first thing he gave to me and that moment i felt relieved.:)
He got my luggage and invited me for a cup of coffee as what i told him before i left my home.

New life and New Journey

The long wait is over and the day has finally arrived. I am sure i am going to miss my life in Philippines, my routine going to work, the adventure travel with my friends which sometimes lead us into something different.

This was the day that i finally said goodbye to my home.
September 7, 2014 it was Sunday we headed to the Airport for my flight to Spain, as i say goodbye to my neighbors my heart started to break, i told myself not to cry but that was really hard to do. I left a simple hug and goodbye to them. I saw a glimpse of my mom's face and she was trying not to cry that time.

Around two in the afternoon when we arrived in terminal 3 my family were all there to say bye even my friends Azza and her family, Day and Earl.  After an hour and half i decided to say goodbye to them, i hugged each and everyone and say goodbye, but one of the most saddest and unforgetable goodbye that break my heart into pieces was when i heared my mom crying while she hugging me, i felt that she doesn´t want me to go.  While i was waiting to get on board i kept on crying in the waiting lounge, that time i really don't care if the man in front of me are watching me crying. It seems like the tears were like unable to stop during that day even when i was in a plane and until i reached Dubai.

It's really hard to let go of the things that you get used to and also to the people you are with in your entire life but we must to admit that we also need to accept new challenges in life, though it is hard but maybe it will lead us to something better. Life is like an adventure sometimes it is good and sometimes no, sometimes it amaze you sometimes not but each adventure is a lesson learn either to teach you or bring out the best in you.

Until my next adventure! but not in my home now, it's in my new life in Spain!  Ciao!

Counting days

I am only waiting for few days and soon i'm moving to a new place.  It is time for me to start a new life, a married life with my husband, exploring things and places now not only with myself but also with him. Moving out is the hardest thing i have done, I've been with my family and friends all my life here in my home country, i grew up surrounded with the people i love for all my life, but now is the time.  It's time for me to learn how to live away from my family and friends which is the difficult part.  But on the good side i am going to spend the rest of my life with my husband. I will explore new places, meet new friends and build my own family as well.
Whenever i think about moving from one place to another i can't help but cry, because it would be different now, it is not how the way i live in my own home(country) but i have to be strong, i have to learn how to fight the boredom and homesick of being away from them. I need to be brave enough and learn how to live a new life.
Now i don't know what to say because whenever i think of it my tears starting to fall.  But this is life and i need to learn from it but of course never forget the people who made a big part in my life. Those are the people i treasure most, the people i love and i will love even i am from other continent.

Ciao!

Corregidor Walk Tour with Mi Amor

For this year of 2014 Corregidor is my first destination, but it  is not only me who will travel now, i am with the man whom  i chose to spend the rest of my life with. Corregidor is our dream place to visit and this is how was it.

Corregidor one of the best historical site here in the Philippines.  It has lots of stories left inside the island and if you could think on it who would have thought that there is somethings exist inside of the island.

Corregidor is one of my dream destination and thank God he allowed me to experienced and explore what's within and of course thanks also to my fiance because he also wanted to visit the place. We're supposed to visit Corregidor Island last August 18, 2013 but unfortunately due to the bad weather (Habagat 2) the Philippine coast guard didn't allow to travel our ferry. Aside from that the marriage proposal was also supposed to happen in Corregidor but it did not happened there gladly it all ends fine despite the bad weather.

Well luckily we got the chance to explore the place, Last March 8, 2014 we booked in Sun Cruises for the "Walking Tour Package".  Yes it is a walk tour sounds rare but definitely fun! Maybe some tourist chose the "Day Tour Package" which is the normal tour package that you'll only ride in the tranvia.

Our first stop was Battery way!

This is the first and most visited place in Corregidor because it is near in the port of the island.  I was amazed when i saw some part of the wall of the toilet that got inside the trunk of the tree when Japanese hit this area a very old ages place but truly amazing!.

As we walk going to our second stop my fiance and I were having fun on our way going to the "Hospital Building"

If you choose the "Corregidor Historical Walking Tour" package this is the way that you are going to experience when you visit the island, there are some place that you will visit in a walk tour package that Day Tour Package cannot experience and vice versa.

This is the Hospital building in Corregidor, creepy but lots of historicy happens here. What's inside are the ward for those injured soldiers during the battle. The Operating Room and the other one is the morgue.

After our tour inside the hospital we headed to the old shopping mall of the island where soldiers and their wives shop for food, clothes, etc.  Then the stairs going up is headed to the back side of the Topside barracks.

As we headed our way to the top we saw this back side of the Topside Barracks of the island, this is the longest barracks inside the island and it pretty awesome!
Back of the Topside Barracks

Inside the Topside barracks is the recreational area for the soldiers who lives in the island. You can see below the picture of the old swimming pool.

and here is the outside view of the Topside barracks.

In front of the Topside barracks is the field where chopper can landed anytime, and it was the place also where soldiers did their march during their time.

Next stop! The Cine Corregidor, where entertainment held.

The Ruins! Cine Corregidor

Next is the Pacific War Memorial and the Eternal Flame of Freedom

Second to the last is one of my favorite place, the light house.  When we visited the light house it was under renovation so we couldn't get a chance to go inside but still i am thankful because this is the first place i visited for this year and at the same time i was with my fiance.

and we dropped by here in Malinta Tunnel since this is not included in our package.

This is one of my great travel for this year so far plus factor coz finally I've got a chance to visit this place with my fiance.  For me this is one of the best place because this is unique and much better for those students who conduct their educational tour coz this one is the best place to visit and worth the price.

till our next trip! Ciao!
